Cyber Monday Sale and other things

I hope everyone had a great holiday where they ate way too much and passed out at 6 in the evening in a modified fetal position… (maybe that was just me).

I also hope anyone who was partaking in the shopping madness this weekend supported Small Business Saturday and hit up all your favorite locally owned stores… including Recreate (heh). So in continuing with the shopping fever and in honor of what is now “Cyber Monday”  from now until Monday evening at midnight (eastern time) you can receive TEN PERCENT OFF (!!) your purchase from the Claw and Bone Etsy Site….

Which you can visit by clicking HERE… just enter the coupon code MANICMONDAY.

Theres some new jewelry and lots-o-prints… heres a few things you’ll find…

Also speaking of Monday and Recreate I will be there (10 W. Liberty Street) from 10-6 tomorrow, so swing by if face to face shopping is more your thing.

Dont forget to mark your Calendars for December 14th as we will be participating in a Holiday Hop in the Heart of the District along with Gallery Espresso, Fabrika, Red Clover, Perry Rubber, Oillie Otsun, and more! It will be awesome, and there will be food, drink and more discounts to be had. More Information coming soon…

The Holidays are Nigh

And I am in full Holiday panic mode. I am cooking a whole Turkey myself this year and considering I tend to destroy meat I am slightly nervous about it.

But I did manage to get a few things done, and I participated in Desotorow’s Junk in the trunk show the other day (thanks again to everyone who made it out!).

It was very cold.

For those of you who couldn’t make it out I will be putting all sorts of new things on my etsy site by weeks end… including Jewelry, Embroidered prints, screen prints, open edition prints (did I say prints?) and limited edition giclees… If you are interested in an original painting you’ve seen please feel free to email me at KelleyHagemes@gmail.com for availability and prices…

Spring…

Although I guess we never really had a winter…

And though its now my favorite time of year its been one of those can’t win couple weeks. Between the mister working tons and two toddlers and a dog creating a path of destruction where ever they roam, Im a little fried. BOTH babies are sick which resulted in the postponing of the joint dad & Madilynn birthday party. Sick babies don’t leave room for getting much else done and both of them have coughed directly in my face so many times it will be a miracle if I don’t catch it soon. I did finish a couple more necklaces, make it to a few more metal smithing classes though and I’m close to finishing up a couple drawings…

Sick baby number one (being calm and reading a book for the moment)

Sick baby number two not taking it as well...

path of destruction left by banjo... (I love that he's peeking at the scene of the crime as I'm taking the picture, I also love that he left the plant remnant in my shoe.)

I did manage to plant a succulent garden (in a pot I ruined)

Progress on the watercolor

finished drawing for Kyle's Bitter Bottles...

And I also recently finished a few more necklaces which are at Measure: a fabric parlor (311 Whitaker Street, Savannah) if you wanna try em on, or if your not in town you can order them on my Etsy (link in the sidebar)…

Coming soon... new charms and rings...

Metal

I likes it. But in this case I am referring metal smithing. I made my first two bitty rings and Im looking forward to many more…

I am clearly not meant to be a hand model

And in other news, god willing, I will have a limited edition screen print up on Etsy soon…

I still have a couple necklaces and some prints available on there now!

New Things

What Ive finished lately….

painting for Friends of Statts benefit (oil, graphite, pen on 10x10" wood panel)

sketch

New toy

There are also some new necklaces up on etsy and at Measure: a fabric parlor (311 Whitaker Street, Savannah GA). There are also some pillows left over there (New pillows to come soon!) Soon I begin my metal smithing class, so I hope to also have rings available in the near future as well…
